ZARadyica is a collaboration of “Zar” by Dmitry Globa and “Радуйся, Мария (Hail Mary)!” by Hanna Sodaz. In this musical-performative project, archaic sound-making and Middle Eastern traditions are combined with dark-ambient landscapes, sham-step rhythms and electro-tarab harmonies. Word "zar" means a combination of pre-Islamic musical ecstatic rituals to satisfy the spirits and gins. We are documenting the last ceremony before the European tour of the duo.
